We had a fabulous time at the Sun Valley Lodge. The price was incredible and included 2 ski passes each day. Shuttle service to the lifts and to town. There was fresh snow and a roaring fire at the lodge at the end of the day. Thanks Jami! Overall Ranking out of 5		Comments: We stayed at the Sun Valley Inn. It was very nice. The staff was very courteous. Everything was handled in a professional manner. The room was clean. The only thing that happened was that the room service did not answer their phone. We called the front desk, confimed the number and told them they were not picking up. They said to try again. We tried again 30 minutes later and still no answer. We went out for dessert instead. They truly seemed to enjoy making out stay memorable. We will definitely come back AGAIN. Overall Ranking out of 5		Comments: The location and convenience was the best part about staying at the Lodge. We also really enjoyed the golf that was so close. However, upon arrival and until the day we checked out (5 days!) we were asked by the bell crew and others if we were at the Lodge or the Inn. We took from it that maybe because we were younger than the average customer (I'm 41, so that tells you something) they felt like we were in the wrong place. I can see how there would be a lot of confusion betwen the two, but at top hotels (like the Four Season's) the staff should get it right after a day... at the latest. Service would be great and then iffy. Its unfortunate that our net impression is that service was marginal overall, becasue some of the staff really tried. Finally, the rooms were marginal. The hotel is really starting to show its age.
