However, we were disappointed by the lack of early morning coffee. The Lodge offered complimentary coffee until 7 a.m.; After that guests had to go to the restaurant and purchase a cup of coffee for a few bucks. Offering a complimentary cup of coffee or tea to guests AT ANY TIME OF THE MORNING would have been the more refined way to handle it. Sometimes when you travel, it's the little things that a hotel offers that make the guest feel pampered and relaxed. Having to get dressed, locate a few bucks, and go into the restaurant first thing in the morning for coffee was a big pain in the neck. Yet, it is not for everyone. The amenities and range of activities and services are great, but people looking for high technology, the latest trends, and flawless service from professional innkeepers will likely be slightly disappointed.
