Opened in 1937, Pinecrest is an award-winning 18-hole public course featuring Bent Grass greens & tree lined fairways. The course features 6,419-yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Designed by William H. Tucker, Pinecrest is still known for its excellent playability and beauty.

At over 75 years old the course has great history, including...Sam Snead, a PGA Hall of Fame member, was a famous and frequent visitor of Pinecrest Golf Course in the 1950's. Also, Patty Berg, an LPGA Hall of Fame member has also frequented Pinecrest in the 1950's. Sam Snead always wanted the United States Open to be held at Pinecrest in Idaho Falls in the 50s, but due to the small size of Idaho Falls, it never became a reality. Golf Digest in 2009, named the 50 best Public Golf Courses in America, one in each State. Pinecrest was awarded the Best Municipal course in the State of Idaho in 2009.
