The Mineral Ridge loop trail offers hikers spectacular views of Lake Coeur d'Alene from atop the surrounding mountains. The trail, which winds from the Beauty Bay picnic site up to Mineral Ridge, has several shelters and benches that are perfect for taking a break or stopping for lunch. Mineral Ridge is a designated watch able wildlife area that hosts an annual winter migration of northern Bald Eagles.

General Location: Mineral Ridge is easily accessed from Coeur d'Alene by following I-90 east for seven miles, exiting at Wolf Lodge Bay and following Hwy. 97 south off Interstate 90.
