Pierce, Idaho is located along the historic Gold Rush Highway 11 in north-central Idaho. Pierce is a historic landmark, one of the oldest towns in Idaho with the oldest courthouse in the state. Located approx 37 miles southeast of Orofino and 80 miles east of Lewiston, Pierce is in the gateway to the Clearwater National Forest and very close to the North Fork of the Clearwater River. For the outdoor enthusiast, the area offers fishing, ATV trails, snowmobiling and x-country skiing in the winter and plenty of beautiful scenery to delight photographers.
