Banks is located in Boise County on Highway 55 just 12 miles north-northeast of Horseshoe Bend. Situated at the confluence of the North and Main Forks of the Payette River. This is a great place to observe rafters and kayakers at play in the whitewaters of the Main Payette River. Wildlife such as deer, bald eagles and hawks are abundant. The cool waters of the river offer the perfect reprieve from summer heat.
