These days Warren plays host to the locally famous Crab Feed, usually sometime in March every year. On your way to Warren you travel through the Payette National Forest, along the Secesh River. There are numerous chances to view the local inhabitants including deer, elk, and moose. There are also several old logging roads that can be used for hiking, snowmobiling, and 4 wheeling. Burgdorf Hot Springs is a popular stop along the way, accessible only by snowmobile during the winter. It features a large natural hot springs pool and smaller hot pools as well as rustic cabins that can be rented nightly. While in Warren you can visit the old historic buildings and gold dredges. Warren is the perfect place to visit for the day or for a long, truly relaxing weekend.
