Located on the Big Wood River in West Ketchum, this delightful 7,500 sq. ft. Adirondack style home is inviting, warm and rustic, and certain to please guests with its attention to detail and high quality throughout. Winter guests will enjoy the year round hot tub and can ski to the River Run lifts on a groomed path, and arrive in about three minutes! Summer guests may relax on the huge patio, enjoying the mountain views and the Big Wood River.
With 5 deluxe bedrooms, this home will comfortably accommodate a large family or group of friends. To the right of the main entry is the master suite with a wood burning fireplace, king size bed, flat screen TV/DVD and a sitting area with river views. The luxury master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and steam shower. A second guest room also has a king bed, full private bath and TV/DVD player.
The remaining guest quarters are located upstairs and can be accessed from stairs on both the South and North ends of the home. On the South side is a spacious bunk room, that will sleep up to eight guests, having a king size bed and two queen/twin log bunk beds. Completing this space is a balcony, sectional sofa with deluxe entertainment center, game tables and finally a private bath with 2 shower stall, an extra-long sink with 3 faucets and a walk in closet.
On the North end of the upstairs are two more guest bedrooms. The first has a king size bed, balcony, wood fireplace and entertainment center and full private bath. The second room has a queen bed and an alcove with a full bed. The private bath has both a shower and an old-fashioned claw foot bathtub. The upstairs also has a large laundry room for guest convenience.
The shared living area on the main floor is impressive with vaulted ceilings, exposed log beams, huge rock fireplace, pool table, entertainment center and river views. It opens to the fully equipped, gourmet kitchen with bar seating for 3 and a huge island that will seat 4. Nearby is a circular dining room, with seating for 8, with more views of both the river and mountains. The large outdoor patio is accessed from the main level where guests may enjoy the hot tub, wood burning fireplace, BBQ grill and comfortable furnishings.
Completing the main level are a walk-in pantry, office, second laundry/mud room, and large storage room for skis and outdoor equipment. Guests have use of two bays in the garage. To help maintain the beauty of this property, we are not able to permit smoking.
