The McCall Municipal Airport is located in the west-central portion of Idaho along State Route 55. The airport is conveniently located adjacent to the Idaho wilderness area and the many backcountry strips that offer unlimited fly-in fun. Nearby points of interest include the Frank Church River Of No Return Wilderness, Payette National Forest, Boise National Forest, Payette Lake, Cascade Lake, Brundage Ski Area, and the Idaho State Centennial Trail. Recreational activities in the area include hiking, camping, mountain biking, skiing, hunting, and fishing.

The airport has a single runway, Runway 16/34, which is 6,107 feet long and 75 feet wide. The runway is equipped with MIRL and REILs. The airport has an NDB non-precision approach and a stand alone GPS with lower visibility minimums. Aiding the approach to Runway 34 are VASIs. The airport handles an estimated 40,000 operations annually, 71 percent itinerant.

RWY 16-34 lights begin at RWY 16 threshold. RWY 16 threshold displaced 150'. NDB 363 KHz 'CMC' located approx. 5 NM south of airport. Big game animals may be on or in vicinity of RWY. RWY 16-34 straight in VFR landing prohibited. Recommend landing RWY 34, depart RWY 16 when wind conditions permit. USFS parachute jumps in vicinity of airport.
