There are lots of amenities and the restaurant is good, but could be great. The waitresses, although courteous and friendly, could use some more training in waiting in an establishment that costs as much as this does. Overall Ranking out of 5		Shore Lodge product reviewed:  King Lake View Suite Comments: This was my first visit to the Shore Lodge since it was remodeled under new management. The Whitetail is charging prices that are consistent with an "upper class establishment". The accomodations probably come close to meeting that expectation but we (my wife and I) found the food in the restrauntant to be subpar for the price charged (not that it was bad) and the service in the Bar area was horrific. We sat in the bar for over 30 minutes and no waiter service approached us (they were not busy). Finally I went out to the main desk and asked the desk clerk how to get someone to wait on us. She did appologize and called a waitress in the restaurant to come to the bar and serve us: she came once. We found the service in the bar unacceptable. I could get used to it. Every night, when you went out for dinner, they would come and turn down your bed, a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies and a carton of ice cold milk, along with a weather report for the next day so you could plan. The restuarants food and service was incredible. Everything was impecable-the staff, the chef, the ammenities, the view. Truly a 5-star hotel at its best! If you're looking for a place to go to relax and spend time with your spouse, this is the place! Racquetball, basketball, sauna, hot tub, swim pool, private beach, dock, fine dining, and a plush movie theatre. You won't want to leave the resort! Thanks Whitetail-we'll be back soon.
