Uncrowded, inexpensive and available, the ice skating rink was a terrific find for our group. It's setting against the backdrop of the lake was picturesque.

I chose to do a review on the Manchester Ice Centre, even though we didn't do an "open skate". My son plays hockey and he has been to several tournaments there over the last few years. This ice skating rink is one of the nicest I've been to. The breathtaking views of the lake (one whole outer wall is made up of windows facing the lake) are a great backdrop to any hockey game or ice skating. If you're up that way, I would highly recommend dropping in for a session of ice skating at this beautiful rink.
