FlowersAre there restrooms on the train?
There is one restroom on each car.  These restrooms are not wheel chair accessible due to the age of the equipment.

Does the train have assigned seats?
Set selection is first come, first served.  Passengers will be allowed to board the train 30 minutes prior to departure.  Some passenger cars or areas may be sectioned off for prepaid groups.

Can you move between cars and seats?
You can move about the cars during your trip but we do ask that you allow an an attendant help you cross over from cars due to the shifting of the train.  Passengers riding in first class seating in the caboose can not move between cars.

Will the train operate in bad weather?
The train will operated in the rain.  During the winter months, the railroad will determine any cancellation of trips.

Are snacks and drinks available on the train?
Yes, the train has a concession car that offers a variety of snacks and drinks on the Horseshoe Bend Express and the Cabarton Flyer.  We also serve adult beverages in our bar car. No outside food or beverages may be brought on the train except infant food and formulas.

Is smoking allowed?
No, the train, including open air cars are designated smoke free to protect the surrounding National Forest.

Is the train air conditioned?
All of the enclosed cars are air conditioned.

Is the train wheel chair accessible?
The train can accommodate wheelchairs on our open air cars and on some of our passenger cars.  Depending on the size of the wheelchair, movement may be limited to the passenger car.  Motorized chairs typically can not be accommodated because they must be lifted onto the train.  Restrooms are not wheel chair accessible due to the age of the equipment.  Please call ahead so that we may accommodate you.
