Description: JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT:
Ten seasons ago they opened Starlight’s very first season with this amazing show. It has been a Starlight favorite ever since, and is now back by popular demand! Andrew Lloyd Webber’s international mega-hit brings the biblical account of Joseph’s Coat of Many Colors to hilarious life on-stage. Incredible music, dynamic staging, side-splitting comedy and a host of unforgettable characters make this classical production a treat for young and old alike. Opens May 29, 2009 – Closes July 4, 2009

THE BOYFRIEND:
The Boy Friend is a sparkling, tongue-in-cheek romantic spoof of 1920's musical comedy. The setting is the French Riviera where English heiress, Polly, falls in love with handsome delivery boy, Tony. Wary of fortune seekers, she poses as a secretary, unaware that Tony is in fact the missing son of wealthy Lord Brockhurst. Complications begin with the unexpected arrival of both Polly and Tony's parents. With its catchy tunes, winning humor and high energy dances (including the inevitable Charleston), The Boy Friend entertained audiences for over five years in London's West End. The Broadway production ran for 485 performances and starred a then unknown Julie Andrews as Polly. This role turned her into an overnight sensation, and in 2003, Julie Andrews made her directorial debate with a National Tour production of this show. Opens June 13, 2009 – Closes August 14, 2009.

ANNIE GET YOUR GUN
Annie Oakley is the best shot around, and when she's discovered by Buffalo Bill, he persuades her to join his Wild West Show. It only takes one glance for her to fall head over heels for dashing shooting ace Frank Butler, the show’s headliner. Annie soon eclipses Butler as the main attraction which, while good for business, is bad for romance. With his bruised male ego leading the way, Butler is ultimately pitted against Annie in a final shoot-out. The rousing, sure-fire finale hits the mark every time in a testament to female ingenuity. Opens June 20, 2009 – Closes August 15, 2009

FOOTLOOSE
"Exhilarating, spectacular, fun, fabulous! This show rocks!” Critic Jeffrey Lyons states, “You’ll have a hard time staying in your seat!” Based on the 1984 hit movie, Footloose is the story of the new kid in town, a free-spirited hero who reminds everyone that it's no sin to be young. A family musical with electrifying music and dance, it is the tale of struggling to overcome well-intentioned but misguided oppression, and coming to terms with loss - a boy's loss of his father and a man's loss of his son. Don’t miss the show that critics call, “The Grease for the new millennium!” Opens July 3, 2009 – Closes August 22, 2009

SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS
Join Milly, Adam and the rowdy crew of Pontipee boys for another season of high-stepping, toe tapping musical comedy filled with enough music, laughter, dancing and excitement to cause an avalanche! Seven Brides only plays for ten performances at the end of the season so get your tickets early because as any Starlight patron will tell you, “This is one show you don’t want to miss!” Opens August 17, 2009 – Closes September 12, 2009.
