The "Hagerman Stretch" is ideal for the beginning rafter. The launch site is just north of Hagerman at Lower Salmon Falls Dam. Be sure to bring your fishing tackle as the Hagerman section offers the angler a variety of trout, including the wild rainbow and the German brown. Observant floaters may also get a lucky glimpse of the rare sturgeon rolling in the rapids, or view blue heron, ducks, geese and other abundant wildlife that dot the shores of this scenic section of whitewater. Truly a memorable day can be had by all. This trip can be arranged with or without lunch. Costs vary depending on menu. Choices include dutch oven tacos or full meals with steaks, pork, roast beef or chicken with all the fixins. A minimum of 15 people is required and the meal can be before or after the 4 hour float.
