The goal at Ste. Chapelle is to capture the unique character of every vintage. Fine wine production in Idaho began in the 1860s, spurred by French and German immigrants. Indeed, the Pacific Northwest's first wineries were in Idaho. In 1919, Prohibition shut down the state's nationally renowned wine industry, but it was revived in the 1970s when wine grapes were again planted in southern Idaho's Snake River Valley.

The winery, founded in 1976, is open seven days a week. Experience the quality of Ste. Chapelle wines through wine tasting. For a $5 fee, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through a tasting of five wines. Tasting fee waived for our wine club members.

Experience the Excitement of the Grape Crush
During fall harvest, visitors can experience the excitement of the grape crush in full swing. At other times, guides take guests through the cellars for an up-close tour of the processes of fermentation, aging and bottling.

Summer Concert Series at Ste. Chapelle Winery
Summer Concert's have been hosted at Ste. Chapelle for twenty years! From Blues to Jazz, Classical to Zydeco, we have the perfect outdoor setting. The wine is cold and the music is hot! Concerts begin mid June and commence at our Harvest party the first weekend of October. Thousands of visitors enjoy a scene worthy of royalty, complete with wine picnics on the grass, hot and cool jazz and blues bands, and the view of the famous Snake River winding through the valley below.
