The brand new Silver Rapids giant indoor waterpark has seven slides including lazy river, family raft slide, kids activity lagoon and multi-level play island. The FlowRider Surf Wave is the stuff dreams are made of, a huge perfect wave powerful enough for non-stop boogie boarding and surfing action. It's all right out the front door from your accommodations in the Morning Star Lodge.

A wall of windows stretch from the first floor to the vaulted second-floor ceiling. A unique spiral staircase leads to the elevated loft where a queen-sized bed and twin-sized trundle bed await those ready to rest or to utilize a second entertainment center, perfect for keeping the kids close but not too close.

"I chose the morning star for its easy access to the gondola I checked in on a Monday afternoon only to find out the gondola doesn't run on Tuesday or Wednesday. There should be a gondola schedule on the website so I could have scheduled my trip a little better around it we were very disappointed to miss the opportunity

"Our stay at Morning Star Lodge was great. The staff was polite and very helpful. My work in the area resulted in my husband not wanting to check out at the required time and he was welcomed to stay until I was through with my work. Thank you."
