This retreat is located on 70 acres at the crest of White Bird Hill, with access to thousands of acres of state and National forest land. Come stay and mingle with the array of ranch animals.
Whitebird Summit Lodge is a "breath of fresh air”.
Spend the day riding horseback overlooking the Camas Prairie, the Gospel Hump Wilderness area and the Salmon River Valley. Ride through historic grounds and listen to Frank tell the story of the Nez Perce Indian war from 1877. Trace the steps of Chief White Bird and Chief Joseph. Enjoy a BBQ or a picnic lunch with breathtaking views of the canyon below.
There are 30 horses at the Whitebird Summit Lodge year around. They are gentle and safe for all types of riders, ages 8 to 80! Bring your extra apples, the horses love em!
