Snake River Adventures does supply all bait, tackle and poles, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bass and Sturgeon bite the best in the spring, summer and early fall, while Trout fishing is good all year long.
Fishing for the Mighty Sturgeon which reaches lengths in the Snake River of 10 feet or more is absolutely an amazing experience. After an hour of reeling these beasts in, you start to wonder who has who! While your guide keeps an eye on the sturgeon rod, you can pass the time by catching trout and bass.
Snake River Adventures uses G-Loomis and custom Lamiglass rods for Sturgeon fishing. They also provide light tackle for Bass and Trout fishing.
Guests will need an Idaho Fishing License. Season for Trout, Bass, and Sturgeon is open all year. Keep in mind that Sturgeon on the Snake River is catch and release only.
After a long day on the river fighting Sturgeon, head back to your hotel and relax for the evening.
