The Sourdough Lodge is nestled along Highway 21 in the midst of the scenic South Fork of the Payette River. A fishing pond is one mile up the road, and numerous trailheads and natural hot springs are within a 30 mile radius.
The Sourdough Lodge has a clean, 6-room motel with smoking and non-smoking rooms all of which have premium satellite television. There are also three new one & two bedroom cabins available for rent by the night, week, or month.
The on-premise restaurant serves delicious standard fare such as hamburgers, buffalo steaks, pizza, chicken fingers, pasta, and salads. A full breakfast menu include huge sourdough pancakes, skillet potatoes and homemade cinnamon rolls. Restaurant hours are usually 7 am to 8pm. On Fridays and Saturday, they are open until 10 pm.
Closest location to to purchase fishing licenses is Garden Valley, or available at any Walmart or Fred Meyer in Boise.
