Warren is a historic gold-mining town located 50 miles from the popular resort town of McCall. Warren was founded during the gold boom days of the mid 1800's. On your way to Warren you travel through the Payette National Forest, along the Secesh River. There are numerous chances of seeing the local inhabitants including deer, elk, and moose. There are also several old logging roads that can be used for hiking, snowmobiling, and 4 wheeling. While in Warren you can visit the old historic buildings and gold dredges. Warren is the perfect place to visit for the day or for a long, truly relaxing weekend
