About Kellogg:
Kellogg is located on the Coeur d'Alene River at the heart of North Idaho's Silver Valley in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. Kellogg was settled in the 1870's when silver and gold mines created boom towns throughout the area. Kellogg has a rich mining and pioneer heritage. It is home to the world's longest gondola at Silver Mountain Ski Resort, Crystal Gold Mine, Staff House Museum, and so much more. Activities for the area include skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, golfing, concerts on the mountain and exploring other nearby mining era towns. You can even visit Idaho's oldest building, the Old Mission at Cataldo.
