Comments:
Ponderosa State Park was a great place for snowshoeing. All the roads were groomed for cross country skiing and many trails for just snowshoeing.

Comments:
We took a long walk along some of the trails. Part of the bike trail which is a fire road is doable for biking the other part of the bike trail is really steep and full of rocks, tree roots and small passages. You really have to be a dedicated mountain biker. the walk along the marsh is great and the look out point is defiantly worth seeing.

I had never been there in the winter before. It was very nice and also very peacful even though it obviously services a large number of outdoor enthusiasts! The snowshoe trails could use a little more signage but other than that it was great!
