Family really enjoyed staying at the condo because it was so conveniently located to the water, marina, and town. I would come back again for a stay. Other relatives stayed on the lake at other condiminums, but they were not even close to the quality of Greystone. We were disappointed in the lack of supplies, however. When paying more than $380 per night, I didn't expect to have to take the time out of our short and busy vacation to go to the store to buy dishwasher soap and toilet paper. We were provided 1 dishwasher soap tablet, and needed to run the dishwasher 3 times. We had no extra rolls of toilet paper. Most condos have a bath size bar of soap and a small shampoo. We did not have any of these type of items. There was no kleenex anywhere in the unit. We feel that the unit is poorly managed when it so lacking in essentials. We thought that it was a bit tacky to ask us to strip the beds, although we normally do that as a favor but have never been asked by other management firms. However, this unit had VERY minimal kitchen items (the furnishers obviously do not cook!). And the heat system made it quite difficult to keep the downstairs kids bedrooms warm (that would be over 60). Fortunately there were lots of blankets and they didn't mind snuggling. The cleaning fee was a bit steep, and there were towels or something left in the washing machine. Only complaint was the carpet- very badly stained- probably needed a good cleaning. Detracted from how nice that unit is. Also, garage door would not lock so we had to keep expensive mountain bikes inside. I assume that could be fixed. Other than that we loved the convenience and location of the unit. Our 20yr. old grandson said, This is the coolest house I have ever been in! when he saw his downstairs bedroom WITH a TV! Everything was in good repair and all appliances were easy to use. House is nicely designed and comfortable. The amenities were a bit inconsistent. For instance, dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent are provided but no dishwashing soap and no trash bags. It was very cold downstairs. One minor issue was the garage door would not work consistently. Only real drawback is the heating in Greystone units - hot upstairs and cold downstairs. Should have a fan in the stairs to distribute. Also there was not appropriate linnens. The coffee pot was not good and there was no filters to fit the coffee pot. The carpet was pretty spotted up on the stairs.
