| Silverwood Theme Park Opens for the 2006 Season |

The Northwest's largest theme park, Silverwood, has opened for the 2006 summer season. The park, located just north of Coeur d Alene, will be open weekends only until May 27th. Seven day a week operations will run from May 27th to September 4, 2006. Weekend operations will then continue through October 8th.

For the 2006 season Silverwood is introducing the new "Droptower" ride. This new giant will dominate the skies over Silverwood. Located in Coaster Alley it will tower over the woodies at a height of 140 feet. We guarantee an adrenaline rush as you plummet towards the ground at 47mph.
